Children's Ministry:

At Central, we firmly believe in Bible teaching for our children. We also teach them to relate to all  persons and we seek to instill in them a love of  Jesus. Bible truths are taught through stories,  activities and music. We enjoy being a resource for  moms and dads in successful parenting. Preschool and Children's Education offers a fully  graded Sunday School birth through grade six, staffed by trained and dedicated Christian men and women.     

        Weekly programs include:

• Sunday School, Sunday, 9:30-10:30 am
• Bible Skills, Drills, & Thrills, Sun., 5:00-5:50pm 
• Royal Ambassadors, Wed., 6:30-7:30 pm
• Girls in Action, Wed., 6:30-7:30 pm

Preteen Summer Camp

Monday, June 21- Friday, June 25, 2010

Be sure to mark your calendars because preteen camp will be here before we know it!  The dates this year are Monday, June 21-Friday, June 25.  We will attend Camp GAP at Mt Lebanon Baptist Encampment located just south of Dallas.  Sign up begins March 1.   Cost is $135 per student before May 16.  After May 16, cost is $150 per student.  If your child would like to go to camp and finances are an issue please do not hesitate to contact Carrie @ cburrows@cbcjacksonville.com .  Limited scholarships are available.

CBC Special Needs Ministry

Interest Gathering and Group Discussion, Wednesday, March 31 @ 5:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall

This meeting is open to anyone in our church family.  Central Baptist has started a special needs Sunday school class as an outreach to the families in our community who have children with learning disabilities.  Currently, the class incorporates ages 4-6, but will include other ages and grades as the needs arises.   Please take the time to let others know about this class and make a point to pray for this ministry and its leaders as they reach out to these children.  Please contact Shea Fisher or Rachel Langford for more details.
